Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins claimed cornerback Morgan Trent off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday.

Trent played in 12 games last season -- the first six with Cincinnati, one with Indianapolis and the last five with the Jaguars. He tallied 16 tackles on the year and intercepted two passes while with the Jaguars.

In a corresponding move, Washington waived cornerback Leigh Torrence.
